About Horizon School
Located in the beautiful coastal community of Snells Beach with views of the Mahurangi River, Horizon School is a state-integrated Christian school serving students from Years 0-13. Our mission is to "Foster Lifelong Growth in Learners who will demonstrate a Loving Life and a Living Faith, and who are Looking Forward."
As part of the KingsWay Trust, we create a nurturing environment where our rangatahi (young people) are known, valued, and supported as unique individuals. Our College curriculum serves the student rather than the other way around, focusing on bringing learning to students in ways that engage with their world and broaden their perspectives.
The Opportunity

Teach across your specialist subject area(s) using innovative, student-centred approaches
Support students in achieving NCEA qualifications whilst fostering deeper learning
Build strong relationships with students, whānau, and the wider school community
Contribute to our special Christian character through authentic integration of faith and learning
Provide pastoral care and mentoring to support students' holistic development
Collaborate with our College team to deliver integrated learning experiences
